Comparison Kills !!

Hi Everyone !!

It's Mukul here and this time I have come up with something that is for students and their parents primarily.

I'm from India so will talk about the Indian scenario but I think that the topic I'm going to talk about is same for most of the students all across the globe.

The topic guys is "Comparison" ,  The most important reason behind a student getting demotivated or depressed is comparison. This is the thing that haunts the student the most be it during their school or college life. If you don't perform better ,your parents or your relatives or someone close to you in spite of providing you moral support start comparing you with other students who have done good.
It's a very common practice now a days and this has led to the wrong programming of the students mind too . Now a days even students not only see their result but also of their friends to compare their result and if you are better you are boosted up and if not then depressed.

So let me tell you friends no two things in this universe are the same , even the fingerprints of identical twins don't match so how can we assume two people with the same brain and efficiency. You perform for yourself not for others , you need to satisfy yourself not others.

Let us take an example : A racer has a potential to finish a 100m race in suppose 10s  but once he lost to another racer who did it in 12s as it was not his day but now the comparison comes into play and he sets his target at 12s just to beat the other racer whereas if he would have used his potential without comparing he would have finished the race in 10s the next time. But this comparison set a low benchmark . This is the sign of losers not winners.

A successful man knows his potential and works on it to bring the best out of him without comparing him with others. So guys comparison could kill the real power of you so never compare yourself with others because you will never know your true potential.

So its my request to all parents and students too that don't spoil your child's life by putting the element of comparison in it rather try to put motivation into the wings of their desires because they are unique in themselves they just need to find the hidden potential in them.

"Self-assessment is more important than comparison , for success."

Thanks.
